Job Details:

• Provide urology call coverage for a Level II Trauma Center and Hospital
• 
  
• 24-hour call shifts covering Emergency Department and Surgery settings
• 
  
• Receive handoff from on-staff urologists when appropriate
• 
  
• Perform general urology procedures as required
• 
  
• Hospitalists will be responsible for patient admissions
• 
  
• Call volume varies day to day, with some days having no ED urology consults and others having 4-5 consults
• 
  
• Support staff includes surgery nurses and technicians available on call
• 
  
• EMR system used is EPIC; must be willing to work within this platform
• 
  
• Board Certification in Urology required
• 
  
• Nebraska medical license highly preferred
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
• 
  
• Case logs from the last 2 years required at time of presentation
• 
  
• M.D. or D.O. degree required; active DEA required
