Opportunity:
Physician - Urology
Job Details:
- Seeking a Board Certified Urologist for long-term coverage with a 1 year or longer commitment
- 2 week on/2 week off rotation with flexible dates
- Coverage consists of Monday through Friday clinic and OR shifts
- Typical schedule consists of 4 clinic days with 1 OR day each week, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No call coverage required
- Approximately 20 patient encounters per shift
- Da Vinci Xi Robot available on site
- Facility lodging with amenities available during scheduled shifts
- Michigan License, Michigan CDS, and Michigan DEA required
- Current board certification or board eligible (American Board of Urology or American Osteopathic Board of Surgery - Urological Surgery) required
- Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA-accredited residency/fellowship or foreign training in Urology required
- At least 50 urological procedures reflective of the scope of privileges requested during the past 12 months required, or successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited residency/clinical fellowship within the past 12 months
- ACLS certification required
- Required skills include general urology (adult required, pediatric preferred), laparoscopic surgeries, ureteroscopy, renal and bladder ultrasound with biopsy, TRUS biopsies, and fertility work-up
- Preferred skills include nephrectomy, prostatectomy, robotic surgery, incontinence procedures, and pediatric urology
