Job Details:

• Locum Tenens coverage beginning 11/30 on an ongoing basis
• 
  
• 8-hour clinical days with no call, no weekends; seeking 4-5 days of coverage per week
• 
  
• Shift hours: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• 
  
• 7-10 patients per day depending on new or follow-up visits, add-ons, and urgent visits
• 
  
• One day per week reserved for On Treatment Visits (OTV)
• 
  
• 7-12 follow-up patient encounters per shift; 12-15 active treatment encounters per shift
• 
  
• Required skills include Intracavitary Brachytherapy, Linear Accelerator, Rapid Arc/VMAT, and Electrons
• 
  
• Required techniques include Conventional/Conformal Therapy, IMRT, IGRT, SBRT, and SRS
• 
  
• Treatment planning requirements include Conventional, Beam Shaping (MLC), 3D CRT, IMRT, PET CT or MRI Image Fusion, Electronic Portal Imaging, and Clinical Trials
• 
  
• Board certification required; minimum certification level: Certified
• 
  
• Fellowship required
• 
  
• Required certifications include ABLS and BLS
• 
  
• Facility utilizes EPIC EMR and ARIA RO Treatment EMR; completely paperless and filmless

This healthcare system is a full-service hospital offering a comprehensive range of medical services, including an ACR Accredited, ACoS Accredited, HFAP Accredited, and NSABP Accredited (with Breast Center) Radiation Oncology department. The facility is QOPI Certified with Medical Oncology and is equipped with advanced radiation therapy technology including a Varian TrueBeam with CBCT, VMAT, and Edge SRS Package, a Varian Trilogy with CBCT and VMAT, and an Elekta-Nucletron HDR with Oncentra. The department is supported by an in-house pharmacy, palliative care, spiritual care, financial counseling, medical nutritional treatment, research and nurse navigators, and continuing development of patient services.
