Physician - Radiation Oncology

Job Details:

• Radiation Oncology physician coverage needed with 8-10 shifts per month
• 
  
• Schedule consists of 2x8 hour shifts per week or 5x8 hour shifts every other week, Monday through Friday 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM
• 
  
• No call or weekend requirements
• 
  
• See 16-20 treatments per day with 1 consult
• 
  
• Patient population includes adults ages 18 and older
• 
  
• Required procedures include IMRT, VMAT, and 3D Conformal Radiation Treatments; SBRT and SRS experience preferred
• 
  
• EMR system is Meditech
• 
  
• Hospital bed size of 200
• 
  
• Board Certification in Radiation Oncology required, or board eligible within 5 years of training
• 
  
• Minimum 1-2 years of experience preferred
• 
  
• Active Pennsylvania state license and DEA required
• 
  
• BLS certification required; ACLS required if provider requests moderate/conscious sedation privileges

This community hospital is a full-service inpatient facility with 200 beds, offering a broad range of medical and specialty services to the surrounding region. The Radiation Oncology department provides advanced cancer treatment services, utilizing modern technology and a dedicated support team to deliver high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients. The facility is currently undergoing an EMR transition to Cerner, reflecting its commitment to modernizing operations and improving patient care delivery.
