    Witham Health Services is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pulmonary and Critical Care physician to join our established practice. This is a full-time, hospital-employed position within a collaborative, community-focused health system.

    Join an experienced Pulmonary and Critical Care team providing comprehensive pulmonary care, critical care, and procedural services. This opportunity offers a balanced practice including outpatient pulmonary care, inpatient consultation, and management of a high-acuity Critical Care Unit while working alongside experienced physicians and advanced practice providers.

    About the Position

    • Comprehensive Pulmonary and Critical Care practice
    • Home base in Lebanon with additional outpatient clinic opportunities in Frankfort and Crawfordsville.  An additional clinic sites are being considered.
    • 4 10-hour workdays with flexible scheduling Monday through Friday
    • Closed ICU model managing a 16-bed Critical Care Unit
    • Manage critically ill patients requiring advanced support including ventilators, BiPAP, high flow oxygen, and vasoactive infusions
    • Inpatient rounding Monday through Friday
    • 1:4 physician ICU rotation
    • APPs provide primary ICU coverage 2 weeks per month with physician backup
    • Shared call rotation discussed during the interview process
    • Opportunity to perform a wide range of pulmonary and critical care procedures including:
      • Thoracentesis
      • Intubation
      • Central line placement
      • Arterial line placement
      • Bronchoscopy
      • Robotic bronchoscopy (Intuitive Ion System)
      • Indwelling Pleural Catheter placement
    • Dedicated bronchoscopy suite with scheduled procedure time
    • Collaborative practice alongside an established Sleep Medicine physician
    • Teaching opportunities available with Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine

    Practice Highlights

    • Full-time schedule with 4 10-hour workdays
    • Average 12 to 16 outpatient visits per day
    • Established practice with 2 physicians and 2 APPs
    • Comprehensive support from Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Medicine services
    • EMR: Meditech Expanse
    • Collegial medical staff and supportive administration

    Candidate Qualifications

    • MD or DO
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine
    • Eligible for an unrestricted Indiana medical license
    • Experience with pulmonary procedures and critical care management
    • Dedicated to providing patient centered care in a collaborative environment
