    Four Corners Regional Health Center (FCRHC) is an Indian Health Service ambulatory care facility located at US Hwy 160 and Navajo Route 35, Red Mesa, AZ 86514, operating under the Shiprock Service Unit of the Northern Navajo Medical Center. FCRHC provides primary care, urgent care, and outpatient services to the Navajo Nation community in the Four Corners region. The clinic is staffed by a multidisciplinary team and is accredited to meet Joint Commission, CMS, and AAAHC standards. Physicians work alongside dedicated support staff in a collaborative environment focused on delivering culturally sensitive, patient-centered care.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive primary care and urgent care services in the Ambulatory Care Department
    • Conduct patient evaluations, diagnostic testing, and clinical assessments
    • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within scope of training
    • Manage pharmacotherapy and prescribe medications
    • Coordinate referrals to specialty services and follow-up care
    • Document all patient encounters in the electronic health record system
    • Collaborate with the clinical team on quality assurance and patient outcomes
    • Manage both scheduled primary care patients and walk-in urgent care visits

    Qualifications

    • MD or DO with completed residency in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
    • Board Certified (required)
    • Current, valid, unrestricted medical license in any US state or territory
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (current)
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in a primary care or urgent care setting
    • Proficiency with electronic health record systems
    • Excellent communication skills and cultural sensitivity
    • Prior experience in tribal health, IHS, or underserved community settings preferred

    Schedule

    Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM • 2,080 hours annually • 12-month contract
