    Qualifications Required:

    • Doctorate degree (MD or DO)
    • 1+ year of experience in Diagnostic Radiology
    • Valid Medical Doctor (MD) certification/license
    • Valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification/license

    Overview:

    We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologist in Pensacola, FL. As a Diagnostic Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting various radiologic imaging examinations, performing diagnostic consultations related to diagnostic imaging, and providing high-quality patient care.

    Practice Specific Details and Tasks:

    Your duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Interpretation of routine studies, including plain films, CT, US, nuclear medicine, MRI, fluoroscopic, and mammography (as available at the MTF).
    • Dictate findings for transcription into the Electronic Health Record.
    • Provide diagnostic interpretation of diagnostic radiologic imaging examinations.
    • Offer diagnostic consultation related to diagnostic imaging to other members of the medical staff.
    • Perform a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic work typical of a board-certified or board-eligible diagnostic radiologist.
    • Conduct routine radiological procedures, such as plain film interpretation, fluoroscopic examinations, MRI, CT scans, ultrasound, mammography, nuclear medicine exams, and minor interventional procedures.
    • Minor interventional procedures may include ultrasound-guided biopsies and fine needle aspirations.


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • Degree/Education: MD or DO; internship/residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
    • Experience: Minimum of 24 months of experience within the last 36 months, which may include residency training.
    • Licensure: Active and clear license to practice as a physician from any state.
    • Clinical Board Certification: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible by AOBR.
    • Life Support Certifications: BLS.
