Physician-Owned Hospital Seeks Orthopedic Surgeon to Join Practice - Sign-On/Relocation/Residency or Fellowship Bonuses

Physician-owned healthcare facility in South Central Kansas seeking a BE/BC Orthopedic Surgeon to join a team of next level surgeons with a vision of growth and commitment to excellence in patient care. Opportunity to build a schedule of three (3) OR days and two (2) clinic days - flexible to physician preference. Compensation range $600k - $650k, negotiable and commensurate with experience with earning potential in the range of $1.5m. Mentorship available as well as teaching opportunities.

Benefits:

• Sign on bonus $50,000
• Relocation assistance up to $15,000
• Residency/Fellowship Stipend: open to $2,000-$5,000 per month
• Premiums for health, dental and vision covered 10% for physician and family
• Paid Time Off (PTO): 5 weeks/25 days

Opportunity includes:

• Anticipate approximately 500-600 joint cases per year with potential to perform up to 10 cases per day due to efficiency of support staff.
• Award winning rehabilitation team onsite as well as in-house medical imaging.
• Same day joints, if warranted - some inpatient, some outpatient
• Partnership with area Regional Medical Center if warranted for patient care

Schedule:

• 1:4 weekly rotation
• Call is compensated at $1,000 per day
• Physician will supervise Advanced Practice Providers
• Physician Assistants are on call/round at hospital

Qualifications and Requirements:

• MD, DO, or IMG will be considered
• J1 and H1-B visa candidates considered
• Specialties and Subspecialties considered:
  • Total Joint/Adult Reconstruction Orthopedic Surgeon would be priority
  • General Orthopedic Surgeon considered
  • Future two specialists needs are Sports Med, and Foot/Ankle or Hand
