Physician Office Coordinator

J. Morrissey is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Physician Office Coordinator to join a busy private specialty medical office in Enfield, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for a healthcare professional who thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment and enjoys coordinating patient care and office operations.
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate patient care within a private specialty practice
  • Scan and prep medical charts accurately and efficiently
  • Process insurance prior authorizations
  • Schedule and coordinate specialty medical testing and procedures
  • Maintain organized patient records and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with patients, providers, and medical staff
  • Support daily administrative and clinical office workflows
Qualifications:
  • Previous medical office or healthcare coordination experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Experience processing prior authorizations preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
