    Opportunity:

    Physician - Neurological Surgery


    Job Details:

    • Seeking a seasoned, highly experienced Pediatric Neurosurgeon with expertise in neuro-oncology to provide locum tenens coverage in collaboration with an established neurosurgical program

    • Collaborate with the existing neurosurgeon to evaluate and perform complex neuro-oncology surgical cases

    • Provide expertise in the surgical management of brain and spinal tumor patients

    • Participate in telehealth conferences and multidisciplinary discussions for pre-operative case review and surgical planning

    • Support continuity of care through post-operative consultation and follow-up as needed

    • On-site approximately 1-2 days per week, primarily for complex surgical cases

    • Flexible weekday scheduling with consistent weekly availability preferred to adequately support the neuro-oncology patient population

    • Availability for virtual pre-operative case reviews and care coordination is required

    • Availability for immediate post-operative consultation, typically by post-operative day two, is preferred

    • No call requirement and no clinic requirement unless participation in select patient visits is deemed beneficial for surgical planning and case preparation

    • Opportunity to focus on high-acuity neuro-oncology surgical care without routine practice management responsibilities

    • Board Certified in Neurosurgery required

    • Extensive experience managing and operating on complex neuro-oncology cases required

    • Demonstrated expertise in brain and spinal tumor surgery required

    • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and provide consultative support both in person and virtually

    • BLS and PALS certifications required

    • Trauma Level 2 facility
