Opportunity:
Physician - Neurology
Job Details:
- Provide neurology hospitalist coverage on a 7 on / 7 off schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Sunday
- Position requires 1 FTE or can be split between 2 locums providers working 1 week per month each
- 6-month assignment starting August 2026
- Perform daily rounding and manage general neurology patients excluding acute stroke cases
- Handle off-site calls from 4:30 AM to 8:00 AM
- 24-hour call responsibilities with hospital phone calls in the evening, no requirement to come in at night
- Treat 5-15 patients per day with an average of 4-5 new consults daily
- Work solo without physician support or additional support staff
- Manage various patient populations including general neurology, oncology, and labor & delivery patients
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical record system
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Neurology required
- Must have active PA license at time of presentation
- Minimum 1 week per month commitment required for part-time consideration
