Neuromuscular Medicine Neurologist Academic Medical Center | Westchester County, New York We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Neurologist with fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine to join and further advance a established and growing academic Neuromuscular Medicine Program. The successful candidate will join an experienced multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care for patients with a broad spectrum of neuromuscular disorders while contributing to the continued growth of clinical services, electrodiagnostic medicine, education, research, and program development. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a neuromuscular specialist seeking a combination of high-quality subspecialty practice, academic medicine, multidisciplinary collaboration, and leadership potential. Position Highlights

  • Join an established, high-volume Neuromuscular Medicine Program with a strong regional referral base
  • Practice within a busy EMG/NCS laboratory serving both outpatient and inpatient populations
  • Care for patients across the full spectrum of neuromuscular disease, including peripheral neuropathies, CIDP and other immune-mediated neuropathies, myasthenia gravis, myopathies, muscular dystrophies, SMA, motor neuron disorders, and complex peripheral nerve conditions
  • Participate in established and developing multidisciplinary neuromuscular programs and specialty clinics
  • Collaborate closely with PM&R, neurosurgery, pain management, rehabilitation, pulmonology, cardiology, genetics, physical and occupational therapy, and other specialties
  • Access to advanced neuromuscular therapeutics, infusion-based treatments, genetic therapies, and evolving disease-modifying treatments
  • Opportunities to participate in clinical trials and translational or clinical research
  • Teach neurology residents, and medical students in both clinical neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine
  • Opportunities for clinical and academic leadership as the program continues to expand

Clinical Responsibilities The successful candidate will become an integral member of the neuromuscular team and will participate in:

  • Outpatient neuromuscular consultation and longitudinal subspecialty care
  • Performance and interpretation of EMG and nerve conduction studies
  • Evaluation and management of complex and rare neuromuscular disorders
  • Multidisciplinary neuromuscular clinics and conferences
  • Shared inpatient neuromuscular consultation if applicable
  • Development of focused clinical programs according to the candidate's expertise and interests
  • Collaboration with regional neurologists and referring physicians to expand access to specialized neuromuscular care

Program Growth and Leadership The Neuromuscular Medicine Program is positioned for continued expansion in clinical volume, electrodiagnostic services, multidisciplinary care, advanced therapeutics, and regional outreach. The incoming physician will have the opportunity to help shape this growth and develop areas of particular interest, including neuromuscular disease-specific programs, multidisciplinary clinics, EMG services, clinical trials, education, and quality initiatives. For candidates with appropriate experience and interest, there may also be opportunities for leadership roles within neuromuscular medicine and electrodiagnostic services. Academic Environment As part of an academic medical center, the successful candidate will have opportunities to contribute to:

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Fellowship training in Neuromuscular Medicine and/or Clinical Neurophysiology
  • Expertise in EMG/NCS
  • Eligibility for New York State medical licensure
  • Commitment to excellent patient care, collaboration, and education
  • Interest in academic medicine and continued program growth
