    Were seeking a passionate and driven Maternal Fetal Medicine Physician to join our Regional Maternal Fetal Medicine team in Grand Rapids and Muskegon, Michigan.     Opportunity Details

    • Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
    • Location: Grand Rapids and Muskegon, MI
    • Specialty: Maternal Fetal Medicine
    • Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
    • Call Requirements: Shared with MFM Partner/Medical Director - mostly phone calls with hospital visits as needed
    • Additional Details:
      • Provide specialized care in Maternal Fetal Medicine managing high-risk pregnancies and fetal complications
      • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, neonatologists, and other specialists to create comprehensive care plans and be their main source for referrals
      • Regional Physician providing services mostly in Grand Rapids with some travel to Muskegon as needed
      • Assigned an MA, sonographer, and additional support staff at all offices
      • Currently the organization has 1 community provider and 1 contract provider with residency clinic

    Requirements:

    • Open to experienced providers or new graduates
    • Physicians must be board certified in their specialty, or board eligible and will become board certified within 2 years of becoming board eligible.
    • Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
    • DEA license

    Duties & Responsibilities

    A typical day may include:

    • Providing direct patient care
    • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
    • Participating in teaching and mentoring
    • Documenting in Epic EMR
    • Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
    • Supporting community health efforts
