Physician - Radiology - Interventional

Job Details:

• Provide locum interventional radiology coverage with general IR experience required and stroke capabilities preferred
• 
  
• 8-hour day shift generally between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM with evening call from 4:00 PM - 8:00 AM
• 
  
• 24-hour call coverage required on weekends
• 
  
• Average of 10-15 procedures performed during the 8-hour on-site day shift
• 
  
• Call backs are generally only required for emergencies
• 
  
• No diagnostic reading required between IR cases
• 
  
• Required procedures include: diagnostic and therapeutic vascular interventions, angiography, angioplasty, stenting, thrombolytic therapy, embolization therapy, vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, port-a-cath insertions, IVC filters, TIPS, percutaneous needle biopsies, abscess drainage, thoracentesis, paracentesis, pain management procedures, vertebroplasty, arthrograms, chest tube insertion, uterine artery embolization, liver Y90/TACE, gastrostomy tube insertion, nephrostomy/ureteral stent insertion, renal fistulograms, and cryoablation
• 
  
• Neuro (head) stroke thrombectomy capability is required
• 
  
• EMR system: Epic
• 
  
• Board Certification required
• 
  
• Active North Dakota license or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) required
• 
  
• IR residency or fellowship required
• 
  
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
