Physician - Interventional Cardiology

Job Details:

• Provide full general cardiology and interventional cardiology consultative services
• 
  
• Read transthoracic echocardiograms and perform TEEs
• 
  
• Perform cardiac stress tests and read ECGs
• 
  
• Provide general and interventional cardiology consultations and follow-up as needed
• 
  
• Perform heart catheterizations, coronary interventions, temporary pacing leads, and IABP
• 
  
• Perform cardioversions
• 
  
• Provide ER call coverage as well as on-call interventional and primary call coverage
• 
  
• 24/7 interventional cardiology call required
• 
  
• Read echos and ECGs remotely for additional Northern Utah facilities
• 
  
• Take phone calls from transfer service and answering service
• 
  
• Daily patient volume of approximately 12 patients
• 
  
• Support staff includes a 3-person 24/7 call team; daily staffing supports two labs Monday through Wednesday and one lab Thursday and Friday
• 
  
• EMR systems used include Epic, Meditech, and Merge MUSE
• 
  
• Active Utah (UT) license required
