Opportunity Details

• Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE) - no required precepting time
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Team is flexible schedule to meet Physician needs.
• Location: 1150 E Sherman Blvd Muskegon, MI 49444
• Specialty: Internal Medicine
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
• Call Requirements: Shared between physicians within the medical group

• • Our Academic Internal Medicine office services adults including diagnosis of medical problems, chronic disease, and comprehensive care for adult patients with multiple medical concerns.
  • The medical center offers convenient on-site access to several services that are in the same facility including Lab, Neurology, OMM, Geriatrics, Imaging and Pharmacy
  • Very close knit and collaborative office with a supportive environment

Requirements

• Open to new grads or experience
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
• DEA license

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Participating in teaching and mentoring
• Documenting in Epic EMR
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives
• Supporting community health efforts
