Description
A health services system in New York City is seeking a Physician for inpatient and hospitalist coverage.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 7 days on / 7 days off
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: In-person hospital setting
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient and hospitalist coverage for assigned patients
- Complete all medical record documentation directly in the electronic medical record
- Respond to MyChart messages and internal communications in a timely manner
- Take appropriate steps to address appeals as they are presented
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
Qualifications:
- Board certification in a relevant medical specialty
- Active physician credentials and the ability to provide inpatient hospital-based care
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Experience working effectively in a collaborative team environment
Desired Skills:
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
- Familiarity with patient portal messaging and clinical communication workflows
- Previous inpatient or hospitalist practice experience
