Job Description

Hospitalists (multiple positions available) to provide medical care to patients of Sioux Falls, SD and the surrounding area. M.D., or equivalent foreign medical degree, as well as completion of a medical residency program in Internal Medicine. Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in South Dakota and BC/BE. Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree.

Successful completion of an accredited residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Current medical license in each state of practice. State Controlled Substance License (if required by State) Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) permit to prescribe controlled substances in each state of practice. Board Certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine; or Board Certified in Family Medicine by the American Board of Family Medicine; or equivalent (American Osteopathic Board, Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada). Privileging documents and related credentialing requirements will supersede this job description in defining minimum qualifications, criteria, and scope of practice, if variation between documents exists
