    Opportunity:

    Physician - Hospitalist


    Job Details:

    • Days only position covering 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts

    • Schedule follows a 7 days on / 7 days off rotation

    • Must have a Florida license and Florida DEA with a clean file

    • Hospitalist experience required

    • Round on approximately 20 to 22 patients per day

    • ICU rounding required; intensivists are available for procedures and vent management

    • Daily hospitalist census is approximately 370 patients; hospitalists carry about 75% of census

    • Consulting physician available, seeing approximately 12 to 20 consults per day

    • Well-staffed facility with all subspecialties available including ICU, Stroke, STEMI, and Transplant Cellular Therapy services

    • GME teaching program on site; teaching teams participate in grand rounds

    • EMR system: Meditech with Expanse

    • 5 positions available

The facility supports a Graduate Medical Education (GME) teaching program and is well-staffed with all subspecialties represented.
