Physician - Hospitalist

Job Details:

• Must already hold an active Alaska license
• 
  
• Board certified in ABIM or Family Medicine required
• 
  
• 12-hour shifts rotating between days, nights, and weekends (6:00 AM - 6:00 PM / 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
• 
  
• Providers must be willing to work 7 consecutive shifts, preferably 2 weeks per month
• 
  
• 7 on / 7 off schedule potentially considered
• 
  
• Patient census ranges from 90-95 patients with 18-22 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Closed ICU unit with intensivist on site; no procedures required
• 
  
• No in-house call rotation
• 
  
• EMR system: EPIC
• 
  
• Coverage need is ongoing

The facility features a closed ICU with dedicated intensivist coverage and utilizes EPIC as its electronic medical records system.
