Physician - Hematology/Oncology

Job Details:

• Ambulatory Hematology/Oncology Clinic role focused on follow-up and new patient visits, writing orders and prescriptions, and communicating with pharmacy
• 
  
• Primary focus on benign hematology, with 60-65% hematology and mild fluctuations from month to month
• 
  
• Must be comfortable working in a general oncology role - bread and butter Hematology/Oncology
• 
  
• Minimum of 15 hematology patients per day
• 
  
• Support staff includes nurses, navigator, administrative support, pharmacy, physicians, APPs, and infusion specialist - provider will not be working entirely solo
• 
  
• EMR: EPIC
• 
  
• Board Certification in Hematology and/or Oncology required; double boarded preferred. If seeing oncology patients, board certification in Oncology is required
• 
  
• Active North Carolina state license and DEA required
• 
  
• BLS certification required
• 
  
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience required
• 
  
• Travel includes flight, rental car, and lodging
