    Opportunity:

    Physician - Hematology Oncology


    Job Details:

    • Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with potential for 3-6 night call shifts per month (5:00 PM to 7:00 AM)

    • 100% adult patient population

    • 95% outpatient clinic and 5% inpatient hospital coverage

    • 70% Oncology and 30% Hematology case mix

    • EPIC EMR system utilized

    • Outpatient support staff includes a Medical Assistant assigned to the provider; Midlevels available to assist with follow-up and new Hematology patients only (not available for new Oncology patients)

    • Average patient census of 22 patients per day with 2-3 new consults

    • New patient appointments are 30 minutes; follow-up appointments are 15 minutes

    • Board Certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology required

    • Hematology/Oncology Fellowship required

    • KY State License or IMLC (Letter of Qualification in hand at time of submission) highly preferred

    • Outpatient and inpatient Hematology/Oncology experience required

    • Intrathecal Chemotherapy experience required

    • Intracavitary Chemotherapy experience highly preferred

    • BLS and ACLS certifications required

    • Self-Query NPDB report required at time of presentation (must be pulled within 30 days)
