Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• 4 shifts per week, 8-10 hours per day depending on patient volume
• 
  
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• 
  
• Daily patient volume of 12-15 patients per day
• 
  
• Outpatient clinical hours in an established oncology center
• 
  
• Light beeper-only call for established patients, averaging 2-5 phone calls per week with a 1-hour response time
• 
  
• Joining an established team of 3 permanent Hematology/Oncology providers, 6 RNs, 1 PA/NP, and 6 office staff
• 
  
• EMR used: Aria
• 
  
• Board certified or board eligible required; fellowship required
• 
  
• Active VA license required
• 
  
• ACLS, ABLS, and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Apartment available for lodging
• 
  
• Preference given to candidates with long-term commitment and driving-distance proximity
