Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Seeking two full-time, long-term locum providers
• 
  
• Monday through Friday office hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 
  
• Possible travel two days per week to outlying office (30 minutes from main campus) for office hours 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 
  
• Daily hospital rounds and consults on assigned weeks
• 
  
• Hospital rounds and consults on assigned weekends, Saturday and Sunday (4 hours per day of onsite work)
• 
  
• After-hours call to address clinic critical values or urgent patient matters; no requirement to return in person to clinic or hospital
• 
  
• Consulting service only; no hospital admissions
• 
  
• Oversee Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
• 
  
• Practice recently relocated to a modern building with a number of medical practices and services
• 
  
• Nurse navigator program, multiple tumor boards, and radiation oncology nearby offering full spectrum of cancer care
• 
  
• Staffing includes 6 Infusion RNs for 16 chairs, 3 RN navigators, 2 RN oral chemo navigators, 1 inpatient APP, 1 outpatient APP, and 3 MOAs
• 
  
• Patient encounters per shift: 12-15
• 
  
• BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist required
• 
  
• Active PA license or IMLC with Letter of Qualification in hand required
• 
  
• Locums-to-permanent candidates highly favored
