Physician - Internal Medicine - Hematology and Oncology

Job Details:

• Coverage needed for medical leave October 2026 through March 2027 with shared call nights and weekends
• 
  
• Full-time preferred; will consider providers available 2-3 weeks per month
• 
  
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch; overtime applies after 9-hour workday
• 
  
• Community-based cancer center seeing a broad range of hematology and oncology patients
• 
  
• Providers will consult both ambulatory and hospital patients
• 
  
• Cancer Center is equipped with 18 chemotherapy infusion chairs and 2 non-chemotherapy infusion chairs
• 
  
• Radiation oncology services available on-site
• 
  
• Bone marrow biopsies can be performed directly within the Cancer Center; experience with bone marrow biopsies preferred
• 
  
• Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Board certification required; minimum board certification eligible accepted
• 
  
• ACLS, ATLS, and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Provider must utilize real-time Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS
