    Opportunity:

    Physician - Hematology Oncology


    Job Details:

    • Locum-to-Perm Hematologist Oncologist coverage needed 4 days per week

    • Schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off with call

    • Clinic hours: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

    • Coverage is 95% outpatient and 5% inpatient

    • Inpatient responsibilities required at two medical center locations

    • Telehealth responsibilities may be included in addition to inpatient coverage

    • On-call required; exact schedule to be determined

    • Weekend coverage as needed

    • Clinic provider daily volume: 10-30 patients

    • Average daily hospital census: 10-15 patients

    • Appointment lengths: 40 minutes for consults, 20 minutes for follow-ups

    • Patient population includes Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial insurance

    • EMR: EPIC

    • 1:1 nursing support provided

    • Medical imaging, lab, and pharmacy services available on-site

    • Services include patient assessments, new and ongoing treatment plans, changes in therapy, referral for ancillary services, end-of-life care, chemotherapy management, and pain management

    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology required

    • Fellowship trained in Hematology and Oncology required

    • Must be experienced

    • Clean malpractice and background required

    • Self-Query NPDB Report pulled within 30 days required at time of presentation
