Physician - Gastroenterology

Job Details:

• Provide gastroenterology procedures and call coverage
• 
  
• Work 10-hour days from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM plus night call
• 
  
• Coverage needed for 1 week per month and weekends
• 
  
• 7-day blocks scheduled from 7:00 AM Monday to 7:00 AM Monday
• 
  
• 10 hours guaranteed per day
• 
  
• Treat adult patient population (18+)
• 
  
• Handle emergency procedures and patient consultations
• 
  
• Total census of 30-50 patients with 9-16 new consults per day
• 
  
• Work with onsite anesthesiology support staff
• 
  
• Use EPIC electronic medical record system
• 
  
• No ERCP or EUS procedures required
• 
  
• Board certification (BE or BC) in Gastroenterology required
• 
  
• Pennsylvania medical license and DEA required
• 
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
