    Opportunity:

    Physician - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology


    Job Details:

    • Inpatient coverage with potential outpatient procedures in a Gastro Hospitalist type role

    • Weekday coverage only, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no nights or weekends

    • Full-time coverage with a minimum of 14 shifts per month required

    • Guaranteed 8 hours per day with overtime applicable after 40 hours per week

    • Approximately 5 patient encounters per shift

    • Minimum availability of 2 weeks per month if two providers are identified to work a 2-on/2-off schedule

    • GI Fellowship completion required

    • Board certification required

    • Active license or IMLC required; active DEA required

    • Required procedural skills include upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery; esophageal dilation and manometry interpretation; small bowel biopsy; lower GI endoscopy; sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid); and colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision

    • ACLS and BLS certifications required

    • Opportunity to perform outpatient procedures if desired; please indicate interest upon presentation

    • Potential consideration for permanent placement if the engagement is a strong mutual fit
