Job Details:
- Provide holiday coverage for Thanksgiving and Christmas periods
- 24-hour call coverage for November 26 & 27, December 24, 25, 26
- Regular schedule Monday-Friday 7:30 AM - 3:15 PM
- Weekday call coverage 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Minimal weekend call responsibilities
- Handle 12-15 procedures per day plus possible add-ons
- Perform general GI cases including EGD, EGD with banding, foreign body removal, and dilations
- Conduct colonoscopies with biopsies and polyp excisions
- Upper GI endoscopy with various procedures including biopsy, foreign body removal, and cautery
- Perform sigmoidoscopy (both flexible and rigid)
- Small bowel biopsy capabilities required
- Manage insertion and care of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes
- Must be board certified with minimum 3 years fellowship training
- ACLS and BLS certification required
