    Description

    Opportunity:

    Physician (MD) - Internal Medicine - Gastroenterology

    Job Details:

    • Locum Tenens assignment covering inpatient consults, ED consults, and transfers

    • ERCP experience preferred

    • Board certification required (minimum certified)

    • ACLS certification required

    • Level 3 trauma facility

    • Required procedural skills include: Upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, and injection of varices

    • ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography) preferred, both diagnostic and therapeutic

    • PEG (percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy) required

    • Esophageal dilatation/manometry and esophageal manometry interpretation required

    • Small bowel biopsy required

    • Lower GI endoscopy including sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid) required

    • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision required

    • Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) preferred

    • Liver biopsy required

    • Insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube required

    • Fellowship training required
