Opportunity:
Physician - Gastroenterology
Job Details:
- Provide clinic coverage for gastroenterology services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month; multiple providers will be considered
- See approximately 9 advanced cases per day with a patient population of adults ages 18 and older (average patient age of 58)
- Primary focus on advanced gastroenterology procedures including ERCP (general and therapeutic) and EUS
- Provide support to call team by adding urgent inpatient cases to the schedule; this is not an on-call position
- Work alongside a robust support team including APPs, RNs, LPNs, and MAs across three GI locations
- Two APPs trained in advanced GI perform preliminary patient evaluations prior to scheduling with the advanced physician
- EMR system: Cerner
- Board certification required
- Active state license required; IMLC candidates or candidates qualifying for WV licensure will be considered
- DEA required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Full travel paid
