West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Surgery, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, seek a Plastic Surgeon with fellowship training in Craniofacial Surgery to join our growing academic practice in Morgantown, West Virginia. Academic rank is available at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, depending on qualifications and experience.
Responsibilities
- Practice the full spectrum of General Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with a focus on Craniofacial Surgery
- Evaluate and manage patients with congenital and acquired craniofacial conditions
- Participate in a multidisciplinary craniofacial team
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple specialties to provide comprehensive patient care
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the academic mission of the Department of Surgery
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or foreign equivalent
- Eligible for West Virginia medical licensure
- Completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency
- Completion of a Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Plastic Surgery
- Experience with craniofacial reconstruction, craniosynostosis, cleft-related care, and facial skeletal abnormalities preferred
