We're currently seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family or Internal Medicine Physician to join our exceptional team at our Schertz Wellness Center in Schertz, TX, where you'll care for a unique all-adult patient population of retired San Antonio Firefighters, Police Officers, and their dependents.

Practice Medicine-Not Production Medicine

Forget the pressure of seeing 25-30 patients every day. Our physicians typically see 8-14 patients daily, allowing you to provide comprehensive, personalized care instead of rushing from room to room.

You'll have:

• 30- and 60-minute appointments
• Smaller patient panels
• Time to educate patients
• Time to build relationships
• Time to focus on prevention and long-term wellness

A True Collaborative Care Team

You are never expected to manage everything on your own. Our integrated care model surrounds both physicians and patients with an experienced multidisciplinary care team that works together every day.

On-site resources include:

• Registered Nurses (not Medical Assistants)
• Clinical Pharmacist
• Licensed Professional Counselors
• Physical Therapy (on-site)
• Ultrasound Services (on-site)
• Health & Nutrition Coaching (on-site)
• Exercise Classes (on-site)
• Cooking Classes (on-site)
• Care Coordination support with Nurse Navigators

We believe great physicians deserve lives outside the clinic.

That's why we offer:

• Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM-5:00 PM)
• No evenings, No weekends, No call, No after-hours charting
• Dedicated administrative time built into every day (Administrative time is intentionally built into both your morning and afternoon schedule, allowing documentation to be completed during your workday-not after dinner.)
• Clinic closes daily from 12:00-1:00 PM for lunch

Our providers are encouraged to practice whole-person medicine. Rather than simply treating disease, you'll help patients improve their health through:

You'll provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients while partnering with our interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans that improve long-term health outcomes.

Responsibilities include:

• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations
• Develop individualized treatment plans
• Promote wellness and preventive care
• Coordinate specialty referrals when appropriate
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Collaborate with on-site clinical professionals to deliver integrated care
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited U.S. medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine
• Current unrestricted Texas medical license
• Current BLS certification
