What You’ll Do:
  • Provide direct patient care and psychiatric assessments for adults with dual diagnoses in a residential setting
  • Respond to emergency calls and manage restraints as needed
  • Conduct face-to-face evaluations and treatment planning
  • Document all visits accurately and in compliance with agency policies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in long-term care environments
  • Participate in team meetings, rounds, and ongoing training
  • Abide by HHSC and facility policies and procedures

What You Need:
  • MD license active and unrestricted in Texas
  • Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • DEA certification in good standing
  • Current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
  • Willingness to complete required HHSC and facility training
  • Experience in long-term adult care and mental health assessments preferred
