Job Details:

• Provide emergency medicine coverage with 4-8 shifts per month
• 
  
• Day shift hours are 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM and night shift hours are 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM (may extend to approximately 7:00 AM)
• 
  
• Inpatient, hospital-only coverage with no on-call requirement
• 
  
• Average of 16 patient encounters per shift
• 
  
• Annual department volume is 37,000 patients
• 
  
• Providers must be willing to work both day and night shifts; providers who will only work exclusively day shifts will not be accepted
• 
  
• ABEM or ABOEM Board Certified required (non-EM board certifications will not be accepted)
• 
  
• Active state license and active DEA required
• 
  
• ACLS, BLS, and ATLS certifications required
• 
  
• Facility is a Level 3 trauma center with 24-hour availability of anesthesia, catheterization lab, general surgery, laboratory, neuro-surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
• 
  
• All providers will be contacted for a phone interview with the medical director
