    Opportunity:

    Physician - Emergency Medicine


    Job Details:

    • Provide emergency medicine coverage at a freestanding emergency department

    • 12-hour shifts available with both AM and PM coverage needed; must be willing to work night shifts to be considered

    • Single coverage staffing model

    • Facility operates 12 ER bays with an expected patient volume of 1 patient per hour

    • Expected ED admission rate of approximately 5%

    • No trauma center designation

    • Support staff includes nursing, 24-hour multimodality radiology tech, and on-site point-of-care lab

    • EHR system is Meditech Expanse

    • ABEM board certification required; ABPS certification may be considered with a waiver

    • New graduates with EM board certification will be considered

    • Ongoing need with approximately 9-10 positions available

    This is a newly established freestanding emergency department providing dedicated emergency medical services to the surrounding community. The facility is equipped with 12 ER bays and offers 24-hour multimodality radiology support along with on-site point-of-care laboratory services.
