Job Details:

• Board certified/eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/ABOEM) required
• 
  
• ACLS and PALS certifications required at time of submission
• 
  
• Case logs for the past 2 years required
• 
  
• Shift lengths range from 9 to 12 hours with both AM and PM shift coverage needed
• 
  
• Emergency department consists of 30 bays with a patient volume of 2.0 patients per hour
• 
  
• High acuity patient mix with a 40% ED admission rate
• 
  
• No trauma center designation on site
• 
  
• Nurse/APP triage available for lower acuity patients (2 x 10-hour shifts)
• 
  
• Some double coverage provided with normal ER support staff including techs and nurses
• 
  
• Great pathology and strong service line with minimal transfers
• 
  
• New graduates will be considered
• 
  
• EMR system: Meditech
