• Site Medical Director position in Emergency Medicine

• Administrative to clinical ratio of 120 hours per month (33 admin hours and 87 clinical hours)
• 
  
• Shift lengths vary: 8-hour administrative shifts and 9-12 hour clinical shifts
• 
  
• SMD typically does not work night shifts unless there is a business need
• 
  
• Physician coverage of 44 hours per day with APP coverage of 46 hours per day
• 
  
• 44-bay emergency department with a patient volume of 1.51 patients per hour
• 
  
• Patient mix includes both adults and pediatrics
• 
  
• ED admission rate of 25%
• 
  
• Trauma center designation: Level 2 in Florida and Level 1 in Alabama
• 
  
• Nurse and APP triage available for lower acuity patients
• 
  
• Two shadow shifts required for orientation with Regional Medical Director serving as mentor and backup during this period
• 
  
• Must be Emergency Medicine board certified with an active Florida license and Florida DEA
• 
  
• Minimum of 3 years of prior leadership experience required
• 
  
• Case logs required for any surgical cases such as central lines and intubations for the last 2 years
• 
  
• Must have a clean file and immediate and ongoing availability
