Job Details:

• Seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join a new free-standing emergency department team
• 
  
• Must be board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)
• 
  
• EMR system: MEDITECH
• 
  
• Providers must have 3 years of full-time emergency room work and 6,000 hours in the ED to be considered
• 
  
• Will accept board certified physicians in Family Practice or Internal Medicine only if they have 6,000 hours of ER experience and full-time emergency room work in the three years preceding application
• 
  
• Must have ACLS and PALS certifications; ATLS is recommended but not required
• 
  
• State-of-the-art facility featuring 12-bed private exam rooms with a designated trauma room
• 
  
• Annual emergency department volume of approximately 11,000 patients
• 
  
• Physician daily coverage of 24 hours with a patient per hour rate of 1.3
• 
  
• Diagnostic imaging on-site including X-rays and CT scans with and without contrast
• 
  
• Ultrasound available on-call 24/7 with a 30-minute response time
• 
  
• Laboratory services available on-site
