• Emergency Medicine position covering morning, mid, and night 10-hour rotational shifts

• No call requirements

• 1-2 physicians plus APPs typically on staff per shift

• 158-bed facility with daily billable encounters of approximately 119 and average patient census of 101
• 
  
• Approximately 22.4 daily admissions with an annual ER admission count of 2,650
• 
  
• Standard emergency medicine procedures required
• 
  
• Support staff includes nurses and techs
• 
  
• Patient population is rural Tennessee
• 
  
• Accredited chest pain and stroke center
• 
  
• Not a trauma center; high acuity cases handled accordingly
• 
  
• Most common cases include standard emergency medicine visits
• 
  
• Board-certified Emergency Medicine physicians preferred; Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with a minimum of 3 years of emergency medicine experience will also be considered
• 
  
• New graduates will be considered
