Job Details:

• Emergency Room setting providing routine ER duties including Codes
• 
  
• Limited Trauma responsibilities for locum providers
• 
  
• Available shifts: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM, and 9:30 PM - 6:30 AM
• 
  
• 4 to 12 shifts per month required
• 
  
• Annual patient volume of 22,000 with 77% discharge rate, 14% admissions, and 2.5% transfers
• 
  
• EMR system: EPIC with Dragon dictation (no scribes)
• 
  
• Support staff includes 12-20 hours of APP coverage and an easy transfer center process
• 
  
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine required
• 
  
• Active Iowa DEA, ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• 
  
• Must be actively practicing as an Emergency Medicine Physician for the last 12 months or have completed an Emergency Medicine Residency within the last 6 months
• 
  
• Completion of an ACGME or AOA approved Emergency Medicine residency program required
• 
  
• Active Iowa state license or IMLC required
• 
  
• Clean malpractice history highly preferred
