Job Details:

• Provide standard solo emergency room coverage for 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM)
• 
  
• Annual patient volume of 32,000 with a daily patient volume of 90-100 patients
• 
  
• Physicians typically see 18-20 patients per 12-hour shift
• 
  
• Emergency department consists of 22 beds
• 
  
• Coverage structure includes 1 physician with 2 mid-level split coverage
• 
  
• Open ICU environment
• 
  
• EMR system: Meditech 6.1
• 
  
• 24-hour availability of support services including anesthesia, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and radiology
• 
  
• Labor and delivery department on site
• 
  
• Board certification required at minimum certified level
• 
  
• Provider must be NC Medicaid credentialed and enrolled in PECOS
• 
  
• Housing provided in hospital-owned apartments
• 
  
• Travel costs capped at $500.00
