Physician - Critical Care Medicine

Job Details:

• Seeking a Critical Care MD to assist with coverage through the end of the year
• 
  
• Must have Critical Care experience, ACLS, and DEA
• 
  
• Must be Board Certified in Critical Care Medicine
• 
  
• Perform common Critical Care procedures including airway management, central lines, arterial lines, dialysis catheter placement, paracentesis, thoracentesis, bronchoscopy, and chest tube insertion
• 
  
• Day shift hours are 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with night call coverage from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 30-minute response time
• 
  
• Average of approximately 1 patient admission per night during call hours
• 
  
• Up to 30 shifts per month available
• 
  
• Average daily patient volume of 12
• 
  
• Supported by an MD in-house during the day and on call at night within a fully functioning and staffed ICU with nurses and technicians
• 
  
• Facility utilizes Meditech and Patient Keeper electronic health record systems
