Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology

Job Details:

• Position focused on Cardiac Testing and Reading in an inpatient cardiology setting
• 
  
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM with no call required
• 
  
• Must be able to perform TEE, Tilt Table, and Conscious Sedation procedures
• 
  
• Very robust practice with high daily volumes
• 
  
• Daily volume includes approximately 15-20 stress tests, 1 stress echo/dobutamine stress echo, 1 tilt table test, 75 EKGs, 15-20 echos, and 1-2 TEEs
• 
  
• Locum provider will be supervising and reading all cardiac testing
• 
  
• Patient encounters per shift: 15-20
• 
  
• Required skills include inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive cardiology, echocardiography, TEE (Transesophageal Echo), nuclear cardiology, and STEMI
• 
  
• Board certification required with minimum board certification eligibility
• 
  
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications required
• 
  
• Fellowship training required
