    Evergreen Sports Medicine | Williston, Vermont
    Evergreen Sports Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our outpatient sports medicine team in Williston, Vermont. This position offers the opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-owned environment with a strong focus on musculoskeletal and sports medicine care.
    Our patients represent the surrounding communities in this highly active region, offering four seasons of outdoor recreation.
    We are open to candidates at varying stages of their careers. Prior orthopedic or sports medicine experience is preferred, but early career candidates with a strong interest in musculoskeletal medicine and a desire to gain expertise within the specialty will be considered.

    Position Overview

    The Physician Assistant will provide evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of patients presenting with a broad range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and sports-related conditions across the lifespan.
    The position is structured around four clinical patient care days per week, allowing dedicated time outside of the clinical schedule for administrative responsibilities and other professional activities.
    The PA-C will practice as part of the Evergreen Sports Medicine team, working collaboratively with our physicians, other advanced practice providers, athletic trainers, medical assistants, and support staff.
    The PA will provide clinical direction and guidance for the Medical Assistant and/or Athletic Trainer supporting their patient panel allowing for a tailored practice style.

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • Evaluation and treatment of acute and chronic musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
    • Development and management of individualized treatment plans
    • Ordering and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging
    • Joint and soft-tissue injections and other office-based procedures within the PA's training and scope of practice
    • Coordination of rehabilitation, physical therapy, imaging, specialty referral, and other appropriate care
    • Patient education regarding diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return to activity
    • Collaboration with physicians, APPs, athletic trainers, medical assistants, physical therapists, and other members of the patient's care team
    • Timely and accurate completion of clinical documentation
    • Other responsibilities consistent with an outpatient sports medicine practice

    Qualifications

    • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
    • Current NCCPA certification
    • Current or eligible for Vermont PA licensure
    • Appropriate prescribing credentials/licensure
    • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to practice effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team

    Compensation

    • Up to $160,000 annually, including quarterly productivity-based incentive compensation.
