    We are a physician-owned and operated family practice with two thriving locations in San Antonio, seeking a compassionate and experienced Board-Certified Physician Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

    As a Physician Assistant in our practice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based care to a diverse patient population. You’ll work closely with our lead physician and Quality team to ensure comprehensive and compassionate treatment for every patient.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct physical examinations, obtain and review medical histories, and diagnose/treat acute and chronic conditions.
    • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans, prescribe medications, and order/interpret diagnostic tests.
    • Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness strategies.
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
    • Stay current with medical advancements and best practices through continuing education and professional development.
    • Maintain proficiency in CMS charting requirements and collaborate with the billing team to ensure accurate documentation.
    • Continuously enhance clinical expertise in alignment with patient needs and practice goals.

    Qualifications:

    • Board-certified Physician Assistant with active Texas licensure.
    • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and decision-making skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Experience in family medicine or primary care preferred.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
    • Manual dexterity to operate medical instruments and electronic medical record system (eClinicalWorks).
    • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as needed.
    • Visual and auditory acuity to assess patient conditions and respond to clinical needs.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
