    Physician Assistant

    Compensation: $131,000 – $170,000 annually (based on experience)

    **Relocation Assistance available**

    Job Type: Full-time, Mondays to Fridays 8-5 PM or 4 day (10 hour shift available).

    Location: Greater Sacramento area, CA (Multiple locations available)

    We are seeking a full-time Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to provide comprehensive primary care services within a community health center setting. This role offers the opportunity to serve diverse and underserved populations while working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations
    • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
    • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging, and other diagnostics
    • Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions within scope of practice
    • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Medical Director
    • Monitor patient progress and modify care plans as appropriate
    • Initiate emergency procedures when clinically indicated
    • Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling services
    • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory standards
    • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care

    Qualifications

    • Active California Physician Assistant license
    • NCCPA board certification
    • Current DEA certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • 2+ years of clinical experience preferred, particularly in community health or underserved populations
    • Comfortable treating three patients per hour
    • EPIC experience
    • In-basket management competency
    • Strong commitment to serving low-income, homeless, or medically underserved communities
    • Bilingual skills in English and Russian, Farsi, Pashto/Pushto, or Spanish strongly preferred
