Physician Assistant Psychiatry

Responsibilities:

• Treat acute and chronic medical conditions with an emphasis on psychopharmacology.
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
• Perform psychiatric medical examinations (mental status exam).
• Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
• Communicate with collaborating physicians and allied health professions regarding patient care.
• Accurate documentation.
• Using computer applications (eClinicalWorks).
• Coding and filling out insurance forms.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments.

Qualifications:

· NPI

· NYS license.

· Two Letters of reference

Compensation/Salary-

• Required 2 weeks of training at $65.00 per hour Non-Negotiable (after training Salary can be negotiated)
• Travel compensation can be negotiated.
• Working from home can be negotiated after 90 days of service.
