    Essential Functions of the Role

    As a Primary Care PA, you''ll care for patients across the spectrum of acute, chronic, and preventive medicine. You''ll have the opportunity to build lasting patient relationships while working closely with physicians and an experienced care team.

    Your role will include:

    • Evaluating and diagnosing acute and chronic conditions

    • Performing comprehensive and problem-focused examinations

    • Ordering and interpreting laboratory and diagnostic studies

    • Developing evidence-based treatment plans

    • Prescribing medications and managing chronic disease

    • Providing preventive care and health counseling

    • Educating patients and families about treatment, medications, and healthy lifestyle choices

    • Coordinating specialty referrals and follow-up care

    • Performing procedures within your scope of practice

    • Participating in population health and quality-improvement initiatives

    Key Success Factors

    We''re looking for a collaborative, compassionate PA who enjoys practicing primary care and building strong relationships with patients and colleagues.

    • Current Texas Physician Assistant license

    • NCCPA certification

    • BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer

    • DEA

    • Ability to meet applicable credentialing and privileging requirements

    • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA).

    • EDUCATION - Grad of an Accredited Program
    • EXPERIENCE - Less than 1 Year of Experience
    • CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION -

    Physician Assistants (PA)

    Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
