A New York City healthcare network is seeking a licensed Physician Assistant (PA) to join their Inpatient Medicine team in Manhattan. This role offers the opportunity to deliver hands-on clinical care in a fast-paced inpatient environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day and night shift coverage
- Schedule: Rotating weekdays and weekends
- Setting: Hospital
Responsibilities:
- Provide inpatient medicine coverage and support daily patient care needs
- Perform clinical assessments, evaluations, and ongoing monitoring of patients
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members
- Document patient encounters and treatment plans accurately and timely
- Support safe, high-quality care across rotating, night, and weekend assignments
Qualifications:
- Active NYS Physician Assistant (PA) license
- Board certification
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in an Inpatient Medicine and/or Hospital Medicine role/setting
- Availability for rotating, night, or weekend schedules
